Fuel Injector Rehab update.

I'd recommend paring the 80q. You have the VW Cabriolet to enjoy the open air in beautiful Charleston and then you have the powerful comfortable 200q20v for the highway and comfortable 4 passenger duty. It sounds like the 200q is the newcomer however so the 80q is probably the old faithful and still-fun die-hard. My one of those is a Coupe GT. I've had it for 12 years, I don't need it, it's not worth much if I sold it, so I keep it.

Subject: Fuel Injector Rehab update.
Just wanted to pass along some progress with my 91 200q.
Solved the persistant, annoying and embarrassing warm start problem by
replacing the fuel pump check valve over the weekend. Thanks for those who pointed
me in the right direction. Now, if someone can recommend a chiropractor to
rehabilitate me after an hour and a half of contortions inside my trunk...
Replacing the check valve, having the A/C system demons exorcised, the rear
window regulators replaced and an increasingly small checklist on my "to do"
list is beginning to create quite a problem for me: I am really starting to
like this car. Unfortunately, it appears that I need to pare down my fleet of
Audi / VW products. It's a hard decision to make: My 80q with a rebuilt head,
my 200q or my VW Cabriolet? These cars are the spoiled, self-centered
children I hope to never have. They are quite an emotional investment.
Any thoughts or emails of interest would be appreciated.
