Tranny Plug Socket?

Bob,

I used the hex wrench also. I had to give it a good kick to knock it loose.
Seriously, I laid on my back and slid under from the front, feet first and
pushed with my foot.
You could also use a heavy hammer to give it a whack.
Of course if you have the car off the ground you will have the clearance to
use a long pipe.

Subject:	Tranny Plug Socket?

Hey all,

I'm trying to replace the tranny fluid (going to RedLine) in my 1991
200q20v but I'm having a bear of a time trying to get the fill plug
out. I've got a 17mm hex wrench but I just can't get the leverage I
need. Does anyone have a 17mm hex head socket that I could
borrow/rent? I'm wondering if that might do the trick. Other advice
on this operation would be much appreciated. Many thanks!

Cheers,
Bob (in Salem, Oregon)
