Door lock is fixed

Whenever I fix or replace any of the door lock clips, I put a
small snap tie on it, just so when it wears out and splits, it
won't fall off and disable to locking mechanism. I was recently
into the driver's side door and discovered two broken clips that
I had replaced 6 years ago, and they were still held in place by
the snap ties.
