Coolant Leakage Solved- BUT . . .

So, has it acted fine since the initial 20 or so minutes after fixing
the cooling system problems? This almost sounds like you had air in
the system, and after it finally worked itself out, the temps were
alright. The engine will adjust itself based on info from the sensors.
Yours does seem pretty extreme, though. I've never heard of it running
no boost, usually just low boost (from sell fuel and retarded timing).
My other question is this, was any coolant/water sprayed on anything
else that might have been evaporated after running it on the highway?
Specifically, the distributor/wires or a sensor?
