strange multiple brake hyd failures

Could these all be original hoses? I just had a rear brake hose failure on
one of our V8s in which braking worked normally going on an errand and was
mushy on the return. Hose just failed/looked burst or ripped. Other side
looked well weathered and broke when flexed after I took it off too.
Neither looked bulged when I changed from winter to summer tires in April
and did my current usual brake/wheel "service" which includes a fluid flush
and running a thread chaser through the lug threads. My fall exchange to
winter tires will include new hoses for all the cars that haven't had hoses
replaced in my records. Our V8s are in the 150K miles range and the
200q20v has 235K.
