Peter,
Thanks for the old post, a keeper for sure!
I have a non-wrenching friend with a show room 60K 200Q-20V that has had the
open ground IC problem. As a result he has, I'm sure, made a very merry
christmas for his independent Audi wrench, who has spent 10 days and
couldn't find the problem. I fixed it in about an hour.

Didn't ever bother wacking it. Knock on the wood trim, I've never had this
problem with mine, yet.
