I might not be recalling correctly--I've only bought one set (from 
TPC) at $11.95, but I seem to recall seeing them at that price on 
special at TPC from time to time. Of course, when you _really_ need 
'em they're never on special.

BTW, has anyone determined for certain what the facts are about the 
existence/non-existence of the TPC operation?
