Koni GB Pricing

Peter, You would dare to Q what?

The Koni Reds, the Specials are designed for comfort, read slightly
underdamped, and I believe not adjustable.

A shock does not add stiffness to any suspension, it being strictly a
velocity sensitive device, not displacement sensitive (ignoring the slight
added spring rate of gas pressurized shocks).

But, whatever makes you feel good!

I would dare to partially question that. On my old 87 Avant I put Koni Red's
in the rear and KYB up front. (stock springs and summer sport tires). Set
the damping at about 3/4 after trying it at about 1/2. The net result was a
stiffer rear, and the combo produced less understeer than the stock setup.
I also used to load a lot of weight and pull a snowmobile trailer, the
Koni's were better than the KYB's in the rear for my use. I know that the
200 is a slightly different car (I have Bilstine with standard springs and
17" wheels). I think most owners would tend to guess their best with the
damping adjustment and not go through the PITA to adjust them later.
Therefore not realizing the best benefit from the Koni's.

My 1 cent comment
