IMO. The factory radio/speakers suck! They are not worth the time an effort 
to keep working considering that you can replace the whole system for the 
same or only a little more than fixing the stock stuff. I have Pioneer and 
Sony in mine and I no longer worry that the car will burn to the ground or 
listen to flat Boze sound. It takes a little work but is well worth 
replacing all the wires and amps and gaining peace of mind.
