rear differential not cooperating

David,

Well, it was a stab (and really shouldn't do anything) -- but if the diff is
somehow locked, it needs to be "free" of differences in rotational speed to
unlock -- so I was thinking that if one tires was considerably lower in
pressure, the effective tire diameter might be changed enough so as to keep
the diff from unlocking. Far fetched, sure. But speaking of Urq's -- I've
had stranger things happen:

The temps are around 45 deg F and I drove it in the rain today, good
thought though.....i was hoping to get some ideas b4 I crawl under there
on the wet driveway.....urq is occupying the garage.....the abs lite
flickers on and off now when I unlock it but the green diff lite stays
on and you can tell its locked when cornering

I'll check the tire pressures....not sure of the reasoning behind that,
Ingo????

How about checking the actuator arm for caked on ice/snow mix? Has the
abused vehicle been in a heated garage since the abuse, or ambient
significantly above freezing?
