Wiring for Rear windows

I suspect the wires are broken in the door loom.
The drivers door loom.
Here's why: At the last track event my student had the window down, it
wouldn't go back up. It was 32 and snowing........
I disassembled the switches, swapped them to no avail.

KEY POINT:
Open the door and have it ajar just a bit (around first detent) in darkness
or in shade look for the other three power window switches to light up as you,
in TNIY incriments, move the door open and closed................

You'll hear a little spark jump and the switches will light up when you make
"contact".................

Don't be confused that the main thick gauge wire to the drivers door and
sunroof work, as Audi seems to daisy chain items further down line from those.
