Keep in mind that the term "embrittlement" doesn't necessarily imply
becoming brittle to the extent cracking/crumbling but rather just the
process that causes (some) loss of elasticity. That's very difficult
to assess for something like these rubber o-rings without the use
without use of appropriate testing instruments. The PS o-rings I've
replaced--including the "leakers"--have also seemed quite "lively".
