VIN on a 200

Odd...  The VIN mailed out, as well as my car's, start with WAUGE.
According to the link, 4th 'digit' being G means:
G - 90 4-Door Sedan (1988-92)
G - 100 4- Door Wagon (1989-92)
G - Quattro 2-Door Coupe (1990)
G - A6 Quattro (1995)
Where H would signify:
H - Turbo Equipped Model (1983 - 88)
H - 90 Quattro 4 - Door Sedan (1988 - 92)
H - 200 4 - Door Sedan (1989 - 92)
H - S4 Quattro (1992 - 94)
H - A6 Wagon (1995)

And I'm certain my car is at least a 4-Door Sedan, and not a 1995 A6
Quattro, making it a 90 4-Door Sedan?  I don't think so.  The 5th 'digit'
is E for both the posted and my own VIN, meaning:
E - 2.2L 5 Cylinder Turbo (200 Models)

So, what does this mean?  I already own a '91 90 with the 200tq engine
dropped in that I've idly dreamed of for a while?  Everything else about my
car indicates it REALLY IS a 200tq, except for this VIN page...
