Thanks, Brice. That's exactly the kind of information I was looking for.
BTW, what exactly does the blowback spring do?

Steve,
I noticed that the new OEM black Audi dealer bought filter that
I got a few changes ago does not have the blowback spring inside like
the Mann filter.
I usually get the Mann from Rod at TPC and was in a pinch and
needed one. Rod said the Mann has always had the blowback spring.
The dealer filter looked kinda cheaper in comparison. The superseding
part no. I got from the dealer was 06A-115-561B which superseded the
034-115-561A which the Mann filter is the same as. Interestingly on the
ETKA the 06A-115-561B show for the 3B only and it calls out an
035-115-561 for the MC. I didnt know that the 3B got a different filter.
I will stick with the original Mann filter.
I wonder why the superseding change?
Just a cheaper supplier? I wonder who makes the new filter? If it is
still made by Mann why the absence of the blowback spring?
