flickering lights, voltage regulator?

Strange, mine started doing it last week, did not notice the flickering light 
however, but will check.  Switching the climate control from econ to auto 
temporary stops it.  Sounds like a bad relay to me.  Also my battery was 
unexplainably dead one morning (enough so car would not start but not totally dead).  
Let me know what you find.
