Distributor shaft gear

Andrew:

The plastic breaks over time. When it does, the car can leave you 
stranded...not to mention leave you with a valve train with plastic bits in it.
Most (caveat) of the replacement 3B distributors come with a metal gear 
instead of the plastic one.
