Tranny support PLUS bolts

Kneale,
    Having done a clutch jobs on my daughters 5000, and my son's Passat 
this summer.  I felt well prepped to tackled the 200 clutch - throwout 
bearing finally melted into pieces.  This was the hardest one to do by 
far.  If you have the Bentley there is a little note for the  200  
quattro ..."on vehicles with automatic seat belt tensioner system, 
remove the mounting screw A for the cable bracket B and press cable 
bracket with over cable reel."  I know this doesn't make any sense, but 
the seat belt tensioner system which is a cable system is attached to 
the top of the transmission and totally invisible when looking up from 
the bottom.  You have to remove the bracket (one bolt) that is on one 
side (I think passengers side) to release the tranny from this cable 
system.  Otherwise the tranny just hangs up there.   There is no picture 
of the cable system in the transmission section of the Bentley but a 
picture of the bracket that needs to be released (Section 34-180-3).  If 
you  have already loosened this and are still having problems breaking 
the two halves apart - there are many bolts holding the tranny to the 
engine and some are not easy to see. A few can only be taken off from 
the top.
