Rear main seal

Bernie:
I'm going to call you on this one...
I can understand that the seal restorer can work
on the fiber and cardboard type seals, but the
front and rear crank and cam seals are rubber with a spring.....
Is the seal restorer also supposed to act as a
treatment for rubber/vinyl seals?
