Thanks Dave. That's pretty encouraging. I've always wanted to rebuild a  
motor too.

shortblock in a junkyard... it'll have dual knock sensors.   Because they are so 
plentiful (compared to the 3B) it should be easy to find  and cheap.  Rebuild 
the shortblock using your 3B pistons, and you'll  be good to go.
