most other failures would result in the boost gauge showing
some variation between idle and throttle positions other than
idle.
I would almost suspect your MAP (manifold input pressure)
sensor is not properly connected to the manifold...
pipe broke, large leak, etc.
On the outside chance, your MAP sensor is bad, but
this is highly unlikely based on all the list experience
I have seen so far.
