Gas pedal cover

It's most likely broken because the hinge is plastic and fatigues over time.
The whole pedal assembly is presumably available from the dealer for $$$,
but what I and others have done is drill a small hole though the hinge area
of both of the parts and then hold them together with something like an
appropriately bent paperclip. Lasts forever. Or some people just leave the
cover off and drive with it that way.
