No, as I mentioned, the motor still makes noise if switched in either 
direction. This morning I got a peak into the door and was able to 
verify that the cable has become very loose. So either is broken or 
jumped off a pulley. The new regulator should do the trick (good for 
as long as I care to keep ol' Lago running).
