Overboost?

I think the fuel pump will only be cut if there is a knock. I was running 16psi on a stock system and on accident 20psi on a stock system. Now i have the 2.5 pt adn 20psi chips. I know the '92-95ish (not sure last year) S4's had an over boost mode.

As I recall from my 5KTQ days, when the ECU sensed overboost it would kill 
the Fuel pump.
Is it the same in the 200, or does it possibly cut iginition?
