Air bag recall? Please refresh my memory.

Low battery voltage can trigger an error in the airbag software.
The AB light in my V8 has been on since September '99 when I was at the
Monterey Historics when they featured Audi. When I returned, battery was
low. Not sure if I had to jump start or not. I've got a piece of
electrical tape in front of it, but I only put that on last November when I
was driving to/from southern CA from CO.
