front outer CV circlip

[Kneale Brownson]

OK, so that circlip I can see at the inner side of the CV is what keeps it
on the axle.  I surmised it was to keep it from going too far  up the axle.
 Thanks.   Pix in the fambly album are totally unclear about that.
