Heater Core etc...

Derek,
To get to the heater core you must remove the heater fan box under the hood,
as I¹m sure is described by Chris and SJM. This is a real bitch! Done that 2
or 3 times to work on the heater fan and replace the motor brushes on
several 44s. As yet I¹ve never had to go the next but easy step to replace
the heater core. 

If you¹ve never serviced this fan motor it will be in dire need of at least
new brushes. Replace these while you¹re in there, much cheaper than
replacing the whole motor.

Blower motor brushes: need 2 ea. (samples?)
5/16² square X 1/2² long w/ 1³ flex lead.
