[V8] Bumper cover plastic repairs

That's a tough one for the V8, as it's the first Audi to use (for
lack of a better word) a polycarbonate-type cover. The older Bumpers
were considerably more resilient as are (comparatively-speaking) the
later model ones. If anyone has found a good way to specifically
repair V8 bumpers, I'm very much interested -- though my bumper-
cracking/destruction experiment this past February at Steamboat
Springs would make a repair totally unfeasible. Sometimes
replacement is the only option.
Does not apply to yours, of course, Kneale.
