O2 sensor or perhaps a dirty throttle body and valve. I'd start by pulling
the intake tube and throttle assembly to see if there is gunk piled up in
there. It tends to get dirty so the throttle valve won't close completely,
roughing up the idle. If it tends to die on take off then it is running rich
and this may be the culprit.........
Another possibility is the crank case breather hose which tends to rot at
the engine end, unloading the engine pressure. Do you have full boost?
