Disposing of beloved 200q

It appears that a new head for my car may be more expense than I care
for- the proverbial straw on the camel.
How does one dispose of such a vehicle? Am I correct in assuming that
everything but the head being either new or straight makes no diff?
Like most of you, I've replaced suspension, a/c, and all the usual
suspect parts. The car has Mobil 1 from new (all records) and the motor
(whose head I foolishly killed) never used a drop of oil.
I'm thinking of having the RS2 manifold pulled to sell, but don't know
if anyone still cares to pay for such items.

So if anyone can tell me what my alternatives are I'd be grateful. It
will add insult to injury if I have to pay to have it taken to a
"salvage" yard, but c'est la guerre.

Best to All,
Kerry

P.S. All in all, a sad state of affairs. I drove new A4s and A3s, and
to my taste, they just aren't an acceptable substitute. I may see if my
in-law's friends still want to sell me their '95 S6, but then again I
may just find something new (and cheap) that won't require the
attention an older but wonderful car will. I hate to stray from the
fold, but . . .
