Bilstein Sports vs. stock?

I believe the only difference between Bilstein Sports and the HDs is
the shaft length. It has been reported that the valving is the same.

What will they do for you? Well, in my 231k Avant, all the panels in
the rear cargo area rattle. And you'll feel every small ripple and
ridge on the road unless you have soft snow tires on.

I have 2 cars with HD's and intend to take them out of both. They'll
be for sale used at some point.

Sports with lowering springs might be a better match and then the
harshness might go unnoticed.

HD's with stock springs suck. My opinion without reservation. Others
don't agree.

I have some Koni reds to put in place of one set of HD's. We'll see
how that feels. If that doesn't do it, then Boge TurboGas are about
the only other option that there seems to be any BTDT with.
