Paul,

I know of one really good mechanic, but he's in Amenia, NY on the NY/ 
CT border, so not very convenient for you.  His name is Greg Haymann.

If you end up empty-handed, I might be able to get ahold of a former  
lister or two who lived in your area and might know of some reputable  
places- let me know.

Oh, you can also try asking on the main (quattro) list...
