This sounds like a classic example of worn tranny mounts or center
driveshaft bearing.

Accellerating, could be the drive shaft CV joints need to be repacked
with grease.
Clunking over bumps,. could be broken exhaust hangers, or the fwd
bushing on the trailing control arms needs replacement.
