multi-temp wire colors

Hi guys, been fiddling with that Audi more than I like lately.
 
Pulled the cap of my multi-temp sensor (4 wire type) and found two wires  
broken off the sensor.  I ordered a replacement kit from Blau with the  plug.
 
The problem is the connector is labeled 1,2,3,4 and I have no idea which  
terminals the colored wires go to, and which wire not to use on the new 3 wire  
connector.
 
Any one know?
