Andrew are you saying you were able to repair the lock cylinder without
performing the full Bentley procedure?
I don't know if I can grab the flat pin, but would be nice if all I have to do
is swap that. Are You saying it can be punched out through the key hole?

You can do this without having to use the new keys. I did this before. There
is a small pin then you can punch out to remove the broken tail section. Do
the same on the brand new lock cylinder you got, swap the ends and replace the
electric switch while you are in there. It will be damaged. I had to pull it
all back out a second time, I figured it would be fine. Took about 3-4 hours
the first time. I have this down to a 1.5 job the second time it did it. The
3rd time on an Audi cabriolet took 45 min.
