Are my kittys constipated?

He folks,
Are cats typically visibly plugged?  I’ve had a significant oil burning 
issue (hopefully past!), and had figured that my cats might have become 
plugged.   So, I took them down today to take a look.
Neither of them looks plugged at all.  I hooked up my shop vac to one, and 
there was no change in pitch of the vac, like I would expect from a 
restricted intake.
Seems like there fine.  Any thoughts?
