rear suspension noise 200 20v Avant

I like your thought Bernie, it does sound more like something is lose. Also if I have the car off the ground it probably is being held tight by the spring so I can't make it?do the noise. ?How do you get to it on the Avant? Richard

Could be a loose strut piston rod top nut, allowing the rod to move within the 
top strut bearing.
