Door won't open from inside or out

I have BTDT on the door latch after a regulator replacement. Undo the
inside door handle and pull it loose carefully. You will probably find the
cable not properly hooked to the handle mechanism. The retaining clip is a
must. By fiddling with the cable you can unlatch the door, but you should be
able to re-hook the cable pretty directly.
It is unlikely the cable has come loose at the latch. If it has, you can
reach in, from the inside handle opening, with a wire hook to trip the
latch.
