about the rest of the engine.

Is the shop you're dealing with known to you?  Do you have any reason
to believe that either they just don't want to be bothered?  Or do you
have any reason to believe they might have an agenda such as getting
the car from you cheap?

How many miles?  Avant or Sedan?
