Eric,
Thanks for the update. I guess I will be going through a similar
process in the near future. Interesting to hear you're startup smoke
problem was at the turbo and not the head. I have smoke at startup
about 60%-80% of the time. I have had smoke while running a couple
of times, I guess that would be at this point literally a couple of
times...the most recent occasion having been described in fair detail
on this list.
Otherwise, even for all my bitching about part replacement, the car
still runs great and I consistently get comments from people about
how strong the car runs and what good shape it is...especially for
one with 240k on the clock.
So, thanks for keeping us updated.
