Thanks for the tip Bernie, I found the Forum and did a search and found a write up on it. It warns that it is the most difficult interior trim piece to work with so I don't feel so bad and I am glad I did not hurt anything yet. Will attack it tomorrow. Richard

I suggest that you pose this Q on the Audi World A6/S6 C5 Forum, which covers ’98 thru ‘04 C5 chassis cars.
