Windshield Wiper Parking

Jules: Odds are the parking problem is the main lever nut attaching
the arms to the motor spindle. Mine came loose and had the same symptoms.
The wipe/park sequencing gets skewed and can be easily reset.

Hi,
Multi-month lurker, first time poster. Vehicle is a '91 100 10v,
non-quatro, non-turbo. Car is in great shape, picked her up for a
steal as a winter car. Usual issues: System check doesn't display on
dash, trip computer only works when it is below 20(F) Degrees -
probably ground traces on the circuit board.
Interesting issue developed with the wipers today. They are not
parking at the bottom of their stroke. Still have full travel from top
to bottom, just parking incorrectly (about 4 inches from the bottom of
the stroke).. If it is relevant I would like to note that intermittent
has never worked (probably the wrong relay).
Any BTDT's? Quick fixes?
thanks
jules

When I broke the plastic neck of the upper radiator, I used Devcon brand
cold weld compounds to form a nice ridge around the broken neck so the hose
clamp could grab the neck better, provided you have enough neck left to do
that. It was meant to be a temporary solution, but it worked for a real
long time - still perfectly fine after 11 months until the radiator started
to leak around the vertical seam and I finally got a new radiator. The same
thing happened to an electric after-run water pump, but this time, I didn't
buy a new one, and instead made a permanent repair by the same method. That
was almost two years ago. If anybody is interested in cheap, questionable
repair method, there is no reason why you shouldn't consider using that
famous product.

Does anyone know of where I can find a good write up on how to replace the
radiator? I broke the connection on the top of the radiator off while i
was
replacing the auxiliary water pump for the Turbo this weekend. There is
still
enough to clamp on a water hose but I am not sure that is sufficient enough
to hold. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yes I need to find
a
replacement top hose too the one with the funky T connection that feeds the
Auxiliary water pump for the turbo.

FYI,
I posted my Stage III+ ECU, and my not-yet-mounted front and rear Porsche
Big Red brake calipers (4) and rear rotors (2) on ebay.
