ECU check

Got a used ECU and wish to check it.  Anything wrong with the following
procedure?
1.  Disconnect battery
2.  Disconnect ECU
3.  Install spare ECU
4.  Connect battery
5.  Test drive


PS- Kneale, one man's opinion: keep all 3 Audis.  You won't regret keeping
an increasingly rare Audi- even if it ultimately became a parts car or 3b
project donor.  Second best: lose the 100.  If it's a v6 auto like mine, the
driving experience pales to the 3b.
