Stuck sun roof

Sounds like a cable is either out of adjustment or broken. Or, it is
hitting the eind deflector. While closing it, watch the deflector and
make sure it doesn't run into that. I've had it happen. If you are
careful, you can hold it down from inside the car and close the
sunroof.
Anyhow, if not that, you will have to remove at least the motor and
realign the sunroof. If it's a cable, most likely you will have to
pull the sunroof assy. It's really not that hard of a job. Just remove
the longer screws form above with it all the way open. Don't take out
the short ones yet. Then, the whole thing slides out of the hole. You
will have to be patient and slow, taking care not to scratch the lid.
I usually put a towel on it, as the hole it comes out is very tight.
