I agree, Brett.

Why did Audi decide that braking torque should not be distributed  
from the hub to the rotor via the lug bolts, and apparently to my  
knowledge, only on the V8 and 200Q-20V UFOs? Apparently, all past and  
current conventual rotor applications use the lug bolts exclusively.  
Maybe your point that the subject screw and plug rotor alignment
is only to ease UFO wheel installation, is its only justification?
