End of an Era...

Well, that's it.

As of earlier today I wrapped up my 200q20v experience. After a
brief two weeks on the local Craig's List market, my ride of 8-years
has been sold to another. As much as I would have loved to have kept
the vehicle around, all things must come to an end. I guess I could
say, so clean was the car that not even it's vampire like taste for
oil could deter the sale. While I didn't hit my planned 250k
ownership goal, it wasn't much more than several thousand miles away.

The buyer, another Puget Sound area native, took possession today and
appears to be in the fortunate position of having an auto enthusiast,
former auto wrenching father. Along with giving a thorough
disclosure, I also made sure the buyer was aware of this great
resource otherwise known as Audifans. I have a feeling that although
my participation in this forum to keep that old Audi on the road is
at a close, the car may stay among the fold via the new owner.

Thanks to everybody over here for the many years of information
sharing and as a little payback to the site, a donation is
forthcoming. I will be subbed over here for a while, but who knows,
maybe I'll see you on the A4 side of things.

And yep, I still have a copy of that metal gear that I helped bring
into existence a couple of years back. That right now is too dear to
let go.
