Metal Distributor gear

Mike:        You will absolutely need the metal gear to avoid the sudden
stop of the plastic gear failing, and the whole re-timing rigmarole.  I
don't believe there is a group buy going for the metal gears right now,
which must be made to order. 

I just happen to see a distributor with the metal gear on eBay, and I
recommend you grab it if possible.
