I replaced my fluid reservoir 2 or 3 weeks ago. It was leaking from the top
nipple, at the 7 o'clock position when sitting in the driver's seat. The
nipple had a crack at the end of the hose. When I re-installed that hose,
I found it was about 1-inch too long; I think the stress that added caused
the crack.
FYI - If you do replace the reservoir, be prepared. It took me about 4
hours to replace mine. There are only 4 hoses attached to it, and 3
bolts holding it in place. But after loosening the hose clamps, there is
little room to twist and turn the hoses to get them off. It's either
bloody knuckles or mechanics gloves. And the bolts are not in the most
convenient places, especially when you try to re-install them.
