Ed,
The lower horizontal hose is the supply hose to the pump and often
leaks at the clamped joint to the reservoir nipple. The hose into the
bottom of the reservoir is the return hose from the rack. Both have
only the reservoir fluid level pressure in them, 6” of fluid. If you
have any slack, cut the hoses shorter and reinstall on the reservoir.
With good hoses these run without clamps on my car. The pitch of the
car should be irrelevant.
