Gotcha.

I was just considering this size the other day.  It's a bit larger but
not a whole lot.  I believe it would fit just fine.  Your original
post stated it would be for an unlowered car.  Considering that I have
run 235/50-16 on 16x8 et35 and 235/45-17's, both of which are probably
wider and squarer, I would be really surprised if a 225/55-16 would
cause any trouble.  It's only slightly more than 1/2 an inch taller
and less than .2 of an inch wider.  You're speedo error would be only
2%, so if you're showing 75, you'd actually be clocked at 77.
