Heater core replacement

Matt,

I’m not specifically familiar with Permatex Si products, but most
single part Si caulks/sealents cure by absorbing moisture from the
air and in doing so emit acetic acid vapor, i.e. smell of vinigar
during the cure cycle, which normally lasts 4 to 12 hours, +/-. You
must have used a large amount of the stuff and the vapors accumulated
in the air ducting.
